Here is a series of love stories to tell. Fictitious or not, they have their messages to share! Hope you enjoy them! (Er... I'm not blogging during office hours - it's my day off.)

How a Crush was Crushed

Once upon a time, Zeph was going to school when a beautiful girl crossed his path. She was so elegant, so gentle, that it shocked him so. Her image haunted his mind - for he had never seen anyone who looked so wonderful. In fact, he had never seen anything so exquisite before.

On the bus one day, she happened to be sitting near. From the name tag on her school uniform, Zeph saw that her name was Qin. When he reached home, Zeph would look out of the window to see where she returned to. Next, Zeph wrote many letters of admiration to Qin, slipping them secretly under her door.

One morning, Zeph plucked his courage and introduced himself to Qin. She smiled and said a few words of greetings... before the bus came. The next day, Zeph received a letter from her, which said that she already had a boyfriend, though she was happy to be friends with Zeph. Zeph was disappointed. But surprisingly, he was more disappointed that the letter was poorly written. The letter had misspellings and broken grammar. Her handwriting looked childish and irregular too. Her phrasing was simple but almost unclear.

This one letter seemed to be the exact opposite of all the relatively articulate letters that Zeph wrote to her. Qin's image of perfection immediately shattered in Zeph's mind. She was a dream lover - but perfect only in his dreams. It was time to wake up. From this case of his puppy love, Zeph realised that the mind of the beloved was more important to him than the form. Then again, the words in her letter were only forms too. To dissolve his broken heart, Zeph burnt the letter - not out of anger, but to let his sadness and attachment go.

Zeph's puppy love. smile Maybe Qin has a confused mind. Irregularity in words are due to a confused state of mind. My handwriting used to be very irregular. However, it is slightly better now. razz
