Super Short Story (84): Litter

Super Short Story (84): Litter

He knows the slips of used tissue paper,
unwanted receipts and whatnots
that appear to slip unnoticed from people’s pockets
is often actually littering disguised to look accidental,
because of all things, they seldom unmindfully let slip bank notes.
These folks clearly know what to drop and what not to.

He likes to point out the slipped nonsense with a smile,
to which the litterbugs will smile sheepishly and pick it up –
unless they choose to put up an act of denial that it’s not theirs.
