End Of Plastic

With increasing use of plastic surgery due to attachment to the so-called ‘importance’ of looks, I’m predicting the reverse to happen soon… There will come a tipping point when looks become regarded as less important instead – when more realise that looks do not ensure good character (though it might increase some quality of life for disfigured victims), that surgery does not really alter character for the better, which is what really matters in the first place, despite looks. There will be wider rejoice of those who genuinely embrace themselves as they are physically, who nevertheless thrive spiritually. It will be the return to the fundamental meaning of beauty, of being a beautiful person.

  1. I know some men and women are afraid of the ageing process. If only Buddha has taught them how to age gracefully, it may have helped them to feel better mentally. Amituofo.
