Compassion: Wandering Thought #93
Wandering Thought #93: Compassion
Compassion is so valuable and precious that we wish it to be as universal as possible, in the hope that others’ compassion extends even to us. Yet, for compassion to be truly universal, to pervade the whole universe, each of us should be as compassionate to one another as possible, in as many ways as possible, including how we think, speak and act to others. Among all, most neglected are those we eat. Why not extend compassion more universally, by choosing not to eat them, to live and let live?
