Wandering Thought #86: Generosity

If we cannot carry even a single material thing along, to wherever we will be beyond our graves, the physical measure of the worth of our lives to others must be in how much of the valuable we were willing to share and give away when alive. Likewise, the spiritual value of our lives to others must be in how generous, compassionate and wise we were to them. If so, why not start living a worthier life now, before we enter our graves?
