\nI am like this, too,
\nThe honored among many sages,
\nThe father<\/strong> of the worlds.<\/p>\n
\nAre my children;
\nDeeply attached to worldly pleasures,
\nThey have no wise thoughts at all.<\/p>\n
\nThey are like a burning house.
\nFilled with many sufferings,
\nAnd frightening indeed.
\nEver present are the woes
\nOf birth, old age, sickness, death,
\nFires such as these,
\nRaging without cease.<\/p>\n
\nThe Three Realms burning house behind.
\nQuietly I dwell at ease,
\nIn forest and field at peace.
\nAnd now it is, that the Three Realms,
\nEntirely belong to me,
\nAnd in them all the living beings
\nAre children of mine.
\nBut now, this place
\nIs filled with calamities,
\nAnd I am the only one
\nAble to rescue them.<\/p>\n
