There are those who never notice the stars,
\nwho never wondered what they are,
\nas if they are those for whom the stars do not shine,
\nas though day is darkness before blinded eyes.<\/p>\n

Because the stars do not exist for anyone,
\nthe stars exist for everyone,
\nwhether appreciated or not,
\nin a web of interdependence, an infinite knot.<\/p>\n

Knowing the stars shine for you at night,
\ndo you crave to see them every night?
\nOr do you crave to never catch sight?
\nOr do you just see if you see,
\nwith an equanimous mind \u2013 just see when you see?
\nWhatever you choose, they shine on for you.
\nas long as you are attached to a ‘you’,
\nto a ‘you’ separate from the stars,
\nand to the other wonders of the universe that are.<\/p>\n

The universe exists for thee,
\nas much as it does for me,
\nbut of the universe are we,
\nwe are the world you see.
\nThe universe exists because of the universe.
\nThe universe exists for the universe.
\nThis universe is a self-contained uni verse.<\/p>\n

\nYes, especially for you, you and you.
\nIt is for you because it is for whom it may concern.

\nor you would not had noticed the stars,
\nor you would not had wondered about these words,
