\ngroupthink can nurse small-minded collective delusion
\ninstead of big-heartedly tapping upon wisdom of the larger masses.<\/p>\n

[232] Stand up against injustice,
\nlest it perpetuates unchecked,
\nbut realise that so-called injustices are personal karmic effects too.
\nA Middle Path between outright resistance
\nand resigned acceptance is needed.
\nJust do what should be done to make things right
\nwhile maintaining peace of mind.<\/p>\n
\n
[233] Our limited sacrifices for others are
\ninfinitesimal in comparison to that of
\nBuddhas and Bodhisattvas for all beings.
\nAs long as we do not see their greatness and aspire to be like them,
\nwe will remain as limited beings.<\/p>\n
\n
[234] The ignoble counts his sacrifices for others.
\nThe noble counts his blessings in being able to be of service to others.<\/p>\n
\n
[235] The Bodhisattva path is to sacrifice
\nthe sense of self by helping others as selflessly as possible
\nuntil there is no more ‘self’ to ‘sacrifice’.<\/p>\n
[236] The ignoble sacrifice little for
\nworldly matters and lament much.<\/p>\n
The noble sacrifice much for
\nspiritual matters and lament not.<\/p>\n
[237] One who frets doing a minute more of Dharma work,
\nand cannot wait to rush back to worldly life
\nis probably not spiritually motivated enough for Dharma work.
\nOne’s immediate Dharma ‘work’ should be to learn more of the Dharma instead.<\/p>\n
[238] Any work becomes Dharma work
\nwhen done to express and increase
\ncompassion and wisdom for one and all.<\/p>\n
[239] Dharma work is Dharma practice.
\nIf Dharma work is not seen as Dharma practice,
\nit is not Dharma work, but just worldly work.<\/p>\n
[240] The essential Dharma work is to sacrifice self
\nfor propagating the Dharma,
\nwith as little sense of sacrifice or self as possible.<\/p>\n
