The only dialogues I found interesting in ‘Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist’ are as below. I wished there was an infinite number of them.<\/p>\n
Norah: … reminds me of this part of Judaism that I really like. It’s called Tikkun olam. It says that the world’s been broken into pieces and it’s everybody’s job to find them and put them back together again.
\nNick: Well, maybe we’re the pieces, you know? Maybe we’re not supposed to find the pieces. Maybe we are the pieces.<\/p>\n
Reminds me of this part of Buddhism that I really like. It’s called Interdependence (Dependent Origination). It says that the world has never been broken into any pieces, though we have the illusion that it has, that we have ‘selves’ separate from everything else… and it’s everybody’s ‘job’ to realise this delusion to realise things have never been apart.<\/p>\n
