BELIEF:<\/strong> We must have faith in who we want to be, not necessarily believing that such a person already exists, but that we can strive to become better and better, till we are like that ideal person in mind – who is perfect in every way, in compassion, wisdom and all other virtues.<\/p>\n

Thank goodness though, in the Buddha’s teachings, such ideal persons truly do already exist as role models – they are the Buddhas themselves. And they assure us that we all have Buddha-nature, that pure potential to be perfectly enlightened on all and completely liberated from all imperfections.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
