\nYi: Before you can achieve that, you have to rid greed, hatred and ignorance.<\/span>
\nWi: That would mean I have to be enlightened.<\/span>
\nYi: Technically, yes.<\/span>
\nWi: I don’t get it… Why\u00a0all these talk of loving\u00a0all if we, the unenlightened can’t do it anyway?<\/span>
\nYi: The idea is to cultivate\u00a0love till we can. We can start on a smaller scale like loving our family and friends. Or on an even smaller scale,\u00a0love your life partner unconditionally.<\/span>
\nWi: If we can\u00a0love one unconditionally, that would mean we have the potential to love many unconditionally.<\/span>
\nYi: Yes and no…. Yes, there is potential, just like we\u00a0all have potential to become Buddhas. No, because we are still unenlightened. Unless we realise emptiness, we tend to see things with dualistic biasness. Each of us has many different sets of affinities with others. Some are good; some are bad. We should cultivate the the bad to be good and the good to be better. In the meantime, just do what we can rather than putting the whole burden of Samsara on our shoulders at once!<\/span>
