Q: What’s your take on organ donations upon death?\u00a0Some are against transplants in the first place, saying this is against the natural course of life itself. Anyway, if I were to die at home, I don’t think\u00a0there would be much chance for timely transplants.<\/p>\n
A:\u00a0A karmic coincidence! I just wrote a series of articles related to your questions. (Please see below, which are especially applicable to Singaporeans in terms of the country’s medical policies.)\u00a0I think organ transplants are not always unnatural;\u00a0that unnatural would be not answering the call of compassion when we can.\u00a0But this doesn’t mean everyone should donate their organs, as you would see why, in the links.\u00a0It is good karma to be able to die not disturbed (e.g. peacefully at home), but it’s hard to tell if our karma will be good enough!<\/p>\n
