Who is More Cruel?

Kat put a live prawn on the BBQ pit and watched it jump and struggle for life.
Lat put a live prawn on the hook and threw it back to the pond as bait for fish.
Jat just waited till food were served

At the end of the day, the trio sat down and chatted.
They began accusing one another of being cruel,
saying one to be worse than the other.

Cruelty is not just about how great or small
the harm one inflicts on another sentient being is,
but how cold-hearted and oblivious one is to others’ suffering.
