Q: In Buddhism, is it not so that only the Buddha can verify if there is a creator God or not? But no one can verify if there is a creator God since he is almighty, right?
A: Everyone can personally know there is no creator god – by becoming a Buddha oneself – thoroughly enlightened. The Buddha clearly denounced any sensibility in believing there is a creator god. We know this too by simple logic. If there is an almighty good creator God, there will be zero suffering in the world from day one till now – but look at the world in the past and today – it is full of suffering.
If there is a creator God, he will not make his existence unverifiable as it does no good to anyone – not even himself – especially if he wants his existence to be believed in by as many followers as possible. It is the other way round – If there is an almighty good creator God, he can easily, with his almightiness, make all believe in him instantly – now. But this does not happen – which proves there is no almighty God. Though there is no creator God; that it is an illusion of some gods, according to the Buddha, that they are creators.
