To Animal-eaters,
The Buddha once taught
that is permissible for random alms-seeking monastics
to eat animals not seen, heard or suspected to be killed for them.
While you, as active consumers might not see animals killed for you,
or hear of them being killed for you,
how can you not suspect them to be killed for you?
Since animals are definitely not killed for vegetarians,
they are definitely killed for animal-eaters,
who sustain the demand for their flesh.
