Something heartening happened on Sunday afternoon.
During the self-introduction session of Project Rebirth
(see https://moonpointer.com/new/2010/05/project-rebirth-rediscover-reflect-recharge),
I asked the participants to share their names and why they signed up for the course.
One said she has been reading moonpointer.com
and that she was curious as to how I’m like,
while another said she has been following my writings since 1998,
and wanted to put a face to the words, some of which helped her during difficult times.
My immediate reply was apologetic,
that I hope I don’t disappoint them in person.
But I also thanked them,
for letting me put more faces to my readers!
Because comments are sometimes few here,
I do wonder at times as to whether there are consistent readers,
and whether it’s worth my time and effort to write on.
Thank you for letting me know it makes a difference! (You know who you are!)

Your messages are both inspiring and engaging, weaving in the dharma at every available opportunity. I value this important source of sustenance for my buddha nature, if any. Thanks Shian!
Hi,
I look forward to the weekly moonpointer email so much so that when it doesn’t appear on Thursday in my mail box, I become anxious. Was my email address dropped off, was there a system bug etc…? It’s like food, nutrient for the mind.
We may not say it often or openly, but, hey,do know that your efforts make a huge impact, a big difference to the sharing of dharma here.
Keep up the good work! (Y) And many thanks!
Thank you Bernard and CK, for your support (Y)
Don’t worry, all sentient beings have Buddha-nature awaiting to be uncovered in full! In case there are missing mails, do feel free to email me at moonpointer@gmail.com to check!
Yes, I try to weave in Dharma into everyday life and records of it. It’s part of what makes my life worthwhile I would say! Amituofo
