My softtoy dog does his best to make the world a better place.
He smiles to brighten the day for anyone who sees him,
and lets them hug him too.
Made me wonder
if I am doing my best,
which should be so much more than him.

reminds me of the softtoy dog I had
when I was young
when I believe problems could be solved with a hug…
Those who think they’re doing their best,
haven’t done their best,
for those who are doing their best,
wouldn’t waste time thinking if they’re doing it.
Yes, once there is doubt
if one has done one’s best,
it is doubtful that one had,
because it means one is not at peace
with what was done or not done yet.
