Encounter with a Non-Psychic Friend

An old friend suddenly turned up in one of my regular classes.
When I asked an open question to all, he gave a wrong answer.
When I said something else, he added irrelevant comments.

When I asked him later, as to why he suddenly decided to come,
he confidently said he had an intuitive thought that I would need his help,
and he lent me a book on how to be psychic like him.

But if he was psychic,
he would know I wasn’t interested,
or convinced in his ‘mastery’ of the book.

I think I will put the book aside for now,
and gently break it to him when I return it to him,
that he wasn’t really psychic… but do keep coming for the Dharma!
