Beyond Glass Walls

‘If slaughterhouses have glass walls,
everyone would be vegetarian.’ (Paul Mc Cartney)
Loudspeakers too please!

If slaughterhouses have no walls,
have live feeds for all to see and hear everywhere,
who could still eat animals?

For hundreds of thousands of years, the stew in the pot
Has boiled up a resentment very hard to level.
If you want to know why there are calamities and wars in the world,
Just listen to the sounds from a slaughterhouse at midnight.

– Golden Mountain Monastery

When I see those who are alive, I do not wish to see them die.
When I hear their sounds, I cannot bear to eat their flesh.
Therefore a gentleman does not go near the kitchen.

– Confucius

How can there can ever be peace on Earth
as long as humans feed on violence in slaughterhouses?

-Stonepeace

How can we wish for world peace
for all our lives,
while we wish to feed on victims of violence
for all our lives?

  1. Oh yes. The glass concept was such a hit with bread that changed the face of bread making here. Slaughterhouse should have glass so that it is clear enough for us to see and to re-examine if our conscience is clear as well when feeding on flesh.

Like they say, out of sight, out of mind. Maybe nevermind. They got no souls anyway. Those crying and screaming are just mere animalistic hypocrisy activated by an application programme which runs in a predictable sequence becos they are just made this way or is it?

Even their children look just as delicious too. Getting into our mouths must be the biggest event in their lives that they are living for, waiting for and dying for.

  2. When one clicks the video above, one would already be looking through glass walls at slaughterhouses, the glass being that of the computer monitor!
