Remembering More Than 100,000

A friend posted this on Facebook on 9/11:

‘Remembering those who were lost in 911, and many others who were lost in the many other untold wars and events of hatred and ignorance. May all beings be free from ill will and suffering.’

Couldn’t help adding this comment:

‘More died (at least 100,000) due to ‘vengeance’ and the quest for “justice” in the US-Iraq war than those (some 2,977) who died in 911: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Casualties_of_the_Iraq_War :-[ Amituofo’

Let’s remember that in war, all are victims. It’s amazing that the above can still happen in our age – and go hardly noticed.
