  1. Shen, your recent posts seem to be following a theme.
We must remember that these certain people are deluded and sometimes will just use groups for social reasons. While it can be good to bring this up with them we have to make sure we do so from a compassionate place in hopes they will awaken to the Dhamma. Also keeping equanamity with the fact that some people will not awaken to the Dhamma due to Kamma or attitude.

  2. Agreed with what Sean had written that some people will not awaken to the Dhamma due to Kamma or attitude. Just keep spreading loving kindness to them at all circumstances. I love this quote,”We believe that all of us have an inherent Buddha nature. This Buddha nature in us is intrinsically same, but it is the awareness and mindfulness on our spiritual path that distinguishes the uniqueness in each individual.”

  3. Agree… though there is also the reverse – some who are haughty, who assume they are well-practised when they are clearly not, who use their Dharma ‘understanding’ to chat up people while confusing them.

Sometimes, this needs firm addressing… also out of compassion… for the person and those affected. With compassion, we should try to awaken one another to our mistakes. If various gentle means fail, more firm means have to be used. I think the articles are not even close to the realm of wrathful Bodhisattva manifestations. Whether it works or not depends on the subject.

Exactly due to Buddha-nature, everyone can awaken to the Dharma by changing their attitude and thus karma. It’s a matter of whether they want to or not. All we can do is urge one another to further awaken.
