If there is such thing as bad luck,
it would be a law of nature.
But if it is a law of nature,
there would be no chance left to it.
And if there is no chance left to it,
there would be no such thing as bad luck.

Hi,
does it matter if it is good or bad?
does luck exist on its own?
and why does it have to be a law of nature?
If it’s bad, it causes suffering, and v.v.
Nope, doesn’t exist on its own; doesn’t exist in fact.
If it does, it would be a law of nature; is natural.
If we believe in random luck, what’s the point of doing anything? It’s more sensible to subscribe to karma: https://moonpointer.com/new/2012/01/karma-vs-luck/

On Situations (Good Luck, Bad Luck)
Good or bad situation is not as important as seeing through the situation correctly.
Good situation, recognise and treasure our blessings, and share if we can.
Bad situation, learn from it, correct it, and take preventive measures.
Finally, every situation by itself is neither good nor bad; they are just as it is. See clearly, and take appropriate actions if necessary.
Sometimes it is beyond us. When we cannot change our situation, we are forced to change ourselves.
Is something really good or bad karma?
