S: You should never say you regret – as it can hurt and scar her for life. This is how I suggest you might want to reply. Smile lovingly and say – ‘That’s a silly question. Do you regret having me as your Mother?’ This can also show how some answers are not always clear-cut yes or no. But do remember to brace yourself for a possibly insensitive answer. But remember it’s probably something she will grow out of and take back when she is more mature.
