Balanced View On Premarital Sex

The Buddha definitely didn’t encourage premarital sex, probably as it can lead to many problems like heartbreak when there is betrayal, indulgence, unwanted pregnancy… but he didn’t speak strongly against it either – if it’s an agreement between consenting adults – they must be grown-ups (not under guardianship, underaged or engaged with someone else) and it must be consensual (not forced). Does that make the Buddha a liberal or conservative? Neither. More of fairly on the Middle Path I would think.

  1. It could make u a baby or a murderer. When one tries to abort a life too helpless to fight back. Sex should be the outcome of love on top of which leads to more love towards each other and the outcome of that love in any ways.

  2. To really love is to love the responsibility that comes with it without which one simply love oneself more than anything. That is the outcome of a tragic brought about by love n from loving oneself too much and centred on satisfying oneself only.
