On Whining

Here’s some counterintuitive thought…

There are whiners with genuine complaints. And there are genuine whiners who complain about those whiners, as if their complaints aren’t valid. Who is worse?

(Of course, there are those who really over-whine, whose complaints are really overboard.) Of course, it’s better to just improve the state of things – but this is usually possible only when there is enough mass-whining to pressurise those in power, who have become complacent to the suffering of the whining ones. Beyond mere complaints, it’s best to come up with genuine workable solutions too. When those in power have become too complacent, what else can you do?
