Especially after seeing an ad,
he found it more puzzling,
as to why women use popular perfumes.
It showed a man paying attention to a woman
after taking a whiff of her perfume.
Why would anyone want to attract someone
with a smell that is not really theirs,
that can be bought by anyone else?
Why would anyone want to confuse someone
with liking a smell versus oneself?
