As he was relatively more intelligent than the average person,
he was made used of by someone even more intelligent.
As he wasn’t that smart, he didn’t realise this.
As she was relatively less intelligent than the average person,
she could not be made use of.
As she wasn’t smart at all, she didn’t realise this either.
