Super Short Story (85): Housekeeping
Having hired a weekly housekeeper
made him aware of how routinely messy his place is –
to the extent of making him embarrassed enough
to do some actual housekeeping before the housekeeper comes.
Sometimes, he thinks its the part-time housekeeper
who somewhat ‘hired’ him as a sub-part-time housekeeper!
Of course, he doesn’t share these thoughts with her, also out of embarrassment.
Whatever works – as long as it keeps the house clean!
