He feels uneasy,
about how she seems
to gossip about him softly
when he’s nearby.
One day, he decided
that he needn’t feel that way;
that she’s the one
who should feel uneasy instead.
So, he walked over slowly,
while smiling in a bemused way…
to hear and ask
what she is talking about.
