Super Short Story (225): Monster

The monsters seemed to be out
to grab good-looking humans,
probably for mating?

So, when one of the she-monsters
looked and stomped over to him,
incredulous that he might qualify,
and wanting to outsmart her,
he pretended to be disgusting
by behaving idiotically,
digging his nose in a confused way.

To his further shock,
she grabbed him anyway.
It was then that he realised,
that he probably wasn’t really
so attractive or smart after all,
that he was probably just for eating.
