Super Short Story (269): Ghost

He likes to come in class last,
so that he can leave first,
to be seated right behind,
so as to see more,
without being seen by most.

He’s the class ghost,
who flits in and out,
that almost no one sees clearly,
not even the lecturers.
Present but as if absent.

One day, a lecturer suddenly decided
to turn the whole class around,
walking over to teach from the other end.
And he became the mysterious ghost
being ‘exorcised’ into existence in the spotlight.
