Experience: Wandering Thought #95

Wandering Thought #95: Experience

A full life is often mistaken to be one in which there is variety of experiences, to see the world at large and such. Yet, this can leave one wanting the next ‘better’ experience, with a higher high, or wanting to relive previous highs. Even a wonderful but fleeting experience thus leaves a bittersweet aftertaste. What is truly a full life then? It is one in which there is depth of learning, even if there is less worldly experience due to various constraints. It is to realise as many universal truths as we can wherever we are, to make as much sense of life itself as we can, and to live its worthiest purpose of sharing the best of our kindness and wisdom, before it is too late.
