Loss: Wandering Thought #91

Wandering Thought #91: Loss

There should be no real loss if it was all worth it, while it lasted, be it a relationship or any other experience. Yet, the sense of loss arises – only from wanting more of what was good, or from wanting to make things better – when it is no longer possible. But there is never need for such wanting, if we do our best to better things now, while knowing it might be our last opportunity to do so in this very brief life. Realising this, there should be no real loss henceforth – unless this is not realised deeply enough yet. To never experience loss again, let us not lose this truth again.
