Wandering Thought #97: Purpose
Wake up for at least one worthy purpose every morning. If not, there might be reluctance and uncertainty, a feeling of life being tiresome, hardly worth the trouble. Go to bed every night with at least one worthy purpose too – even if it is simply to rest well, so as to wake up again refreshed, to continue living out that one worthy purpose. Of course, it would be impossible to live for absolutely one single purpose only, but there should always be one worthiest great purpose, that all lesser purposes support. That purpose would be the meaning of your life, its very worth. And in the event that that worthy purpose turns out to be not so worthy, do find a worthier one. Life is after all a quest, to seek and actualise what is the most meaningful. A few detours are to be expected, twists and turns that make the journey intriguing. This is, after all, the epic true story of your life.
