Wandering Thought #122: Mindfulness

To live fully is to live mindfully from moment to moment, with mindfulness of our actions and their consequences. And it is only with mindfulness that we can truly savour any experience good or bad, to learn what it presents. Paradoxically, the more you realise the fragility of life in this moment, the more will you treasure it in this same moment, to live it fully. It is those who take life for granted, who live it with wild and dangerous abandon in the guise of seizing the moment, who do not realise its fragility or treasure it enough – when this should be the first lesson of life to learn.
