Wandering Thought #131: Demonisation

Don’t demonise others because they are probably not all that bad. Perhaps they are better… or worse. Don’t idealise others because they are probably not all that good. Perhaps they are worse… or better. The only thing we know for sure is that we are all capable of change, and that we are all changing. Neither demonisation nor idealisation of one another changes anyone for the better. They lead to the ailments of attachment due to false hopes and aversion due to false doubts. The only remedy is to show and know one another as we really are.
