Wandering Thought #158: Disappointment
No one can ever let us down, to disappoint us but ourselves, with our misperceptions and thus misplaced expectations of others. Even if we were deliberately deceived, our gullibility is always ours to resolve. If this is not learnt, there will be no end to being deceived and disappointed, when it is really endless self-sabotage from self-deceit leading to self-disappointment.
