Faults: Wandering Thought #168

Wandering Thought #168: Faults

If we attempt to know others’ thoughts about us more than we strive to know ourselves, not only are we likely to be troubled by the faults they perceive or misperceive us to have, this might not solve the problem of not knowing how to overcome these faults, if they are really there. It is only through mindful self-reflection that we know the way we really are and what should be done to better ourselves. Yet, as what others think of us might reflect how we are accurately, do be open to their opinions for further self-reflection too.
