Action: Wandering Thought #226

Wandering Thought #226: Action

There are three kinds of disgruntled people. The first grumbles to oneself or others, who are unlikely to be able to improve the state of things. Why complain to the wrong ones, only to give them suffering? The second grumbles to those who are likely to be able to do something. However, there is no guarantee that they will rectify the situation. The third realises that although grumbling to the ‘right’ people might be needed to highlight issues, it does little. They thus do what is truly necessary to effect changes, to be the change they want to see. Those who only lament remain slaves of external conditions, while those who take solid action are the masters of their lives. And if there is truly no action we can take to change the world, the only action left is to change our minds.
