Wandering Thought #215: Gratitude
If you make a list of all the significant people in your life since young, including both the good and the so-called ‘bad’, followed by listing as many lessons that you have learnt from them as possible, be it directly or indirectly, you will realise something amazing – that the so-called ‘bad’ folks had probably ‘taught’ you just as much, if not more, than the good folks. This is why they are only so-called ‘bad’, for they are just as ‘good’ as the good folks in shaping you to be the better person that you are today. Instead of harbouring grudges against these ‘bad’ folks, why not have gratitude instead? And out of sincere kindness, why not share what you have learnt with them?
