Improvement: Wandering Thought #224

They say ‘If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.’ However, if it, whatever it is, (including ourselves) can be improved, it means it is not at its possible best yet. In this sense, it is still kind of broken. While maintaining the status quo might make sense in some cases, improving the status quo in most cases is just as, if not more important. After all, no breakthroughs can ever arise from letting things be. True gratitude for our blessings is not expressed by resting upon them, but by multiplying and perpetuating them for sharing with more and more.
