Value: Wandering Thought #223

Wandering Thought #223: Value

To know if what you are pursuing is truly valuable in the long run, ask yourself this – ‘What value will it have on my deathbed?’ And if it will have little or no value then, why should you spend much of your invaluable time in this life getting it, or getting more of it? Not that it has absolutely no value now or some time time later, before death, but since it is absolutely true that death can come sooner than later, more effort should be spent on attaining and doing the truly invaluable.
