Stonepeace (101-110)

[101] Not counting your blessings now
means counting your regrets later.

[102] Make a difference to the world
even if the world is indifferent,
because it makes a difference –
at least to you, in trying your best.

[103] You cannot really lose the battle against your demons
unless you give up, because you already have
the victor within – your invincible Buddha-nature.

[104] We are yet to be Buddhas as we are selective
when it comes to living their essential teachings
on how to become Buddhas just like them.

[105] A careless life is
not a carefree one;
for it cares too little,
with too many consequences.

[106] The most agreeable person could be
the most disagreeable person,
who tells you only what you want to hear.

[107] As long as we have negativity
towards even a single sentient being,
we cannot fully save all beings
or even personally attain Buddhahood
due to our imperfect compassion.

[108] To imagine another is beyond hope
is to think one has no Buddha-nature.
Such delusion impedes perfect compassion
necessary for guiding all to Buddhahood.

[109] It is best to heed good advice completely,
if it is already completely good advice,
lest selective heeding renders it bad
for yourself and others.

[110] Those who keep taking advice selectively,
only for their personal benefits
might eventually use it to harm others,
also for their personal benefits.
