[31] If your so-called enemy
‘made’ you bitter,
you have lost.
If your so-called enemy
‘made’ you better,
you have won.
[32] The problem with generalisations
is that even if they are generally right,
they can be specifically wrong.
They are unwise and unfair.
[33] More terrible than
evil in the name of ignorant thinking is
evil in the name of delusional good,
as it is usually more driven,
with more terrible effects.
[34] Any supernatural law
above all natural laws
speaks of overall lawlessness.
Since this is not the case,
there is no supernatural law(maker)
above all natural laws.
[35] Those who vilify the true heroes
while they deify themselves
are the true villains to be vilified.
[36] Beyond fooling many
into thinking that
that he does not exist,
Mara also fools many
into thinking that
he is a Bodhisattva.
[37] Autocracy at best works for a while,
until so-called good leaders pass on,
while its continually suppressed democracy
hinders dissenting yet better leaders from arising.
[38] Someone in the limelight
who casts no shadow
is really a being of light
or a demon in disguise.
[39] The objective are able to
have mixed thoughts and feelings
of the complex nature
of people, matters and things,
instead of singular and simplistic ways
to think and feel about them.
[40] Those who are not self-critical enough
should welcome others to criticise them.
