Stonepeace (311-320)

[311] If our struggles are not
for the worthy and attainable,
our struggles will be,
to that extent in vain.

[312] Although there should not be allowance of injustice as it lacks compassion for the victimisers who create more negative karma for themselves, and the victims who suffer from their own negative karma, there is essentially no true injustice for the victims to forgive, as even ‘injustice’ is karmically reaped. Paradoxically, realising this is the first step towards true forgiveness of oneself and others.

[313] Although many want meat,
no human needs meat.

[314] Even if it seems impossible,
as long as it is worthy,
it is worth the strife.

[315] If we cannot read minds,
why should we imagine
we know others’ intentions
merely by their actions?

[316] The truth can only hurt
those who are ignorant of it, and
those who refuse to accept it.

[317] As there is rebirth,
you will survive even death.
The real challenge is
to live well, before dying well.

[318] True power is being able to always respond
with pure compassion and deep wisdom
even in the most dire of situations.

[319] There is no such thing as ‘humane exploitation’
as any exploitation is already inhumane.
To imagine there is justifiable exploitation
is to rationalise continual inhumanity.

[320] Just as exploitation, torture and murder of human slaves
is deplorable and should be ended immediately
without any room for negotiation,
exploitation, torture and murder of enslaved animals
should not be supported with immediate effect too.
