Repetition: Wandering Thought #257

Repetition: Wandering Thought #257

Negative consequences of continually ignoring lessons that we should have learnt long ago will only keep haunting us. Obstacles arising from not learning them well will pop up time and again… simply because we refuse to learn how to defuse them properly, once and for all. Fools indeed we are when we keep suffering fools who are us.

To reject such lessons is to pretend pebbles in our shoes do not exist. Sometimes they are out of the way and thus painless… but they will occasionally get in the way. Such pain is not really from the pebbles, but from reluctance to remove them. Why be stuck in the rebirth of such solvable problems? Why not break the cycle of foolishness by learning well now?
