even do basic good by
keeping one’s word with goodwill
cannot be called a good person.

[649] Before accusing others
of terrorising oneself,
reflect on whether one
has been terrorising others.

[650] Insist yourself
to live up to your values
if they are sound.

Inspire others
to live up to your values
if they are sound.

[651] What should you always do?
You should always do your best –
for how else should you?

[652] If boredom is due to lack of purpose,
the purpose of your boredom
is to let you know you need purpose.

[653] The unenlightened pin all
their unenlightened hopes
on unenlightened beings.

The more enlightened pin all
their more enlightened hopes
only on enlightened beings.

to those you correctly
or wrongly trust openly
to have integrity too.

[655] Since we all have Buddha-nature,
to become enlightened is simply
to awaken to our most common of sense,
even if mostly hidden for now.
