It is cool to say

something funny,
about yourself.
(It’s called self-effacing humour.)
And it’s even better if it’s
something illuminating
about yourself,
and human-nature.
What you get when you google… ‘Self-effacing humor’: or making fun of yourself is quite a contrast. It is a very powerful form of humor that gets its strength from highlighting your weaknesses.
