Worth: Wandering Thought #263

Worth: Wandering Thought #263

False worth is how much you feel something is worthy or worthless, based on your personal attachment, aversion and delusion. True worth is how much something is really worth, based on its ability to directly or indirectly bring about lasting effects, culminating in True Happiness for one and all.

If we see the truths in these definitions of worth, we should realise that much of what we deem worthy is actually worthless, while much of what we deem worthless is actually worthy. And there is that between, the ambiguous that can be rendered worthless, or made more worthy. Knowing how we have lost our bearings for our true destination of True Happiness, may we recalibrate our sense of direction before moving forth.
