Stonepeace (716–725)

[716]

Institutions are
not definitely wiser in years,
as they might have
stubborn delusions institutionalised.

[717]

If you do not know
what is enough,
you will only want more,
but never get enough.

[718]

Why only admire the admirable?
Why not become the admirable?

[719]

If you do not welcome criticism
to clean up your delusions,
you do welcome delusions
to foul up your life.

[720]

Be not the waiting
when you can
be the happening.

[721]

All big things
were once small things.
All small things
can become big things.

[722]

While we should avoid being brutally honest,
we should welcome being brutally honest to,
seeing it is the ‘kindest’ and ultimate honesty.

[723]

Never suffer needlessly,
but if you happen to suffer,
never suffer for nothing;
always learn from suffering.

[724]

Our partial delusion
is partially due to lack
of impartial learning.

[725]

As the always agreeable
are surely at times secretly disagreeable,
yet pretend to be openly agreeable,
beware of the always agreeable.
